Another Dr.'s Visit

Well today I got to go in the car to the Dr. again. The first thing the nurse did was weigh me, and Mommy and Daddy were surprised how much I weighed. I've plumped up to 8 pounds and 12 ounces. I also got a little longer by a 1/2 inch, so now I am 21 1/2 inches. Other then that my visit was pretty uneventful. Dr. Stevens said I was healthy and she will see me in a month. I am not too excited about going next month though I heard her say that I have to get 4 SHOTS!!! After we left I got to go to work for a little while, I thought I was being a good girl, but I heard Mommy say she didn't get any work done. Anyway, after that we went home and I took a nap to get ready for my next adventure?

My First Trip to Iowa!

Well this past weekend Mommy and Daddy took me to Iowa for the first time. I slept almost all of the way both times in the car, so it didn't seem like that long of a trip for me. Mommy sat in the backseat and took a nap and entertained me when I was awake. I don't know what Daddy was doing in the front, but I didn't see him at all, Mommy said he was being a race car driver, whatever that means. I definitely got alot of attention in Iowa from the Schnepel Clan, so many different people touching and holding me. We went to a couple of wedding showers and there were all kinds of presents, but I didn't really care I got some good presents of my own. I can't wait until we go back for the wedding next month!!!

Sorry!

Sorry I haven't been here for awhile, but I was REALLY TIRED so I am just now catching up with all my work! I was sad to see Grandma Jeri, Aunt Julie, and Uncle Jon and Jeff leave, but after so many visitor's stopping by I couldn't take it anymore I just had to crash. It was nice though to be home with just mommy and daddy for the first time. Hope you enjoy a couple of new pictures of me!

See I really wasn't kidding when I said I was tired! Mommy caught Daddy and I taking a nap we were so sleepy!!!!!

My First Dr's Appt.

Yesterday at 9AM I had my first check-up with Dr. Stevens. I really like her, she is really nice everytime I see her. The only thing that I didn't like was when she took my weight. The scale was really cold!!! I weighed 6 lbs, 11 oz., which is a couple of more ounces then when I left the hospital Monday. She checked me out all over really good and said that I was a healthy baby and before I left the office I got a sticker. Since I was so good at my Dr's visit and I was a good little girl in the car we made a stop on the way home and Daddy bought me a Disney Book. The rest of the day went just as well, I went home and did my favorite things EAT and SLEEP!

Going Home

Well finally we got to go home on Monday PM, but I didn't exactly like getting in my car seat as you can see. Mommy sat next to me and once Daddy started driving everything was fine, plus I was excited about getting to see my house and my Mickey Room for the first time!

At 3:28 AM on Saturday, May 5, 2007, Jill brings Brooklyn Danielle into the world. She came in weighing a whopping 7 lbs. and 2 oz, and a lengthy 21 in. Most importantly HEALTHY!
