FINALLY!!! SNOW!!

We have been WAITING AND WAITING!!!
We have been singing Christmas songs--still--In February!
And Finally it happened-it snowed!
It snowed most of the day on Wednesday, so when I went to pick up the kids, all I heard were comments about wanting to play in the snow!  So as soon as we got home--we put on our gloves and out we went!!!  They were so excited!!

A few requests were:  1-A snowball fight!  Check!

 2-Snow Angels!  Check!

Looks like their ride got stuck in a drift!!  Yikes!

Then daddy got home from work!!! Then the real snowball fight could start!!

What a great ending to our day!  It was a very pretty snow, and unfortunately it didn't stick around long.  Didn't even get a snow day out of it, which is not normal for around here!

We loved the snow, and can't wait for it to happen again!!

Valentines Day

We love a reason to celebrate around here!  So we don't let Valentines Day go by without a little fun!

First--Daddy got us these!  BEA-U-TI-FUL!

And then before I knew it, it looked like Christmas in our living room!  A lot of people wanted to show their love to our little kiddos--SPOILED!!  But I just can't resist!!!

We used our new plates and cups that we got from Aunt Julie for dinner!

We also got a few cards in the mail with some treats!!  Thanks Grandma Iowa, and Aunt Peggy!

The kids got books and balloons from us too--so lots of love being shown!!

Fun Friday!

Supposedly Jamison was sick?? At daycare, so mom took off work early to pick him up Friday afternoon. By the time I got there he was back to feeling himself! And for once we also got to go pick up Brooklyn from school too. Since every seemed to be feeling fine and no fevers, we decided to make a fun afternoon out of it. Milkshakes and then to Daddy's work!! He was outside watching the football boys run so we got to enjoy some fresh air! Then it was home for a quick dinner and then popcorn! For being sick it sure was a fun afternoon!

Cute kids!!

Just sayin!

Never a dull moment!

Lets just say we laugh daily at our house!!!

Accessory City

Brooklyn has been talking about America in school, as well as celebrating the 100th day of school. She has brought home lots of fun stuff!!

Our little Daisy

Brooklyn has started a new adventure-- Girl Scouts!! Twice a month she goes to Girl Scouts after school. She loves it!!! She loves that they make crafts, and do fun things!! Thanks to Grandma Mary for getting her all set up with her vest and patches! And the main concern seems to be if she is selling Girl Scout cookies, for all those wondering, you will have to get back with us Next year!! We will be holding off a year on cookie sales!!
Until then we are excited for Brooklyn to do a lot of fun things with her troop!!

Rocking and rolling!

Brooklyn got invited to a birthday party at the Roller Rink!! She had never roller skated before, so I was kind of nervous. And even more nervous that I was going to have to skate as well! Luckily- she took right to it! At first we tried the little walkers to help her balance, but she didn't like them much. She much rather preferred holding my hand (keep in mind I had two shoes on)! Towards the end she really wanted to do it on her own!! She got much better in the short time we were there. She also liked the cool music and lights! It was a fun day and so proud of how brave she was!!!
