Our hospital stay....

Big sister and big brother got to come visit baby Raegan a few times. Brooklyn even got her own camera so that she could take her own pictures. Both of them were very excited to see the baby! Brooklyn claimed her as "my baby and nobody elses", and also re-affirmed that she wanted her name to be Sweetheart Lollipop! Brooklyn was a little offended at first that we had picked another name for her, but she has now agreed that Raegan is a good name! Jamison greeted Raegan with some love pats and also buried his head in her showing her some love!

Introducing Sweetheart Lollipop

It's a GIRL!!! Introducing Raegan Ann Nerio. Born July 26th, 2010 at 7:13pm. Weighing in at 8lbs. 11oz. and 20 inches long. Healthy and with lots of dark hair like daddy. She's just perfect!

We should have listened to Brooklyn all along as she told us it was going to be a girl!

The day went great! After a full day of contractions, mommy only had to push ONCE, and she was here before we knew it! How exciting as we welcome our third child! Thanking god for a healthy baby and a happy family!

The big day!

The day is here! We arrived at the hospital around 8:00 am. Daddy, Mommy, and Aunt Julie. Around 9:00 or so they started Mommy on some pitocin to try and get some contractions going.

It turned out to be a longer day than anticipated. Mommy toughed out the contractions until about 3:00 when she got an epidural. Although we had hoped that the baby would be here by then, it made for a fun day in the hospital!

Luckily ?? Mommy had Daddy and Julie there to help entertain her.... and boy were they a lot of help :) Good thing mommy did all the work!

Later that evening things finally started really progressing.....and it looked like baby would be here soon! Stay tuned.....

Nerio's family of four-one last update

Well, we are about to welcome baby Nerio into this world. Since he or she likes it in Momma's belly so much, it looks like we are going to have to induce. So tomorrow Monday July 26th we are scheduled to be induced at 8:00am. We are still hoping he or she decides to come on their own in the next 24 hours. Anyway--thought we would give you one last update before things get even more crazy here!

Brooklyn- well she is 3! And I mean 3 in the way that she has great days where she is a big big girl, and days that don't go so great. She can throw a temper tantrum like the best of them! We know she has lots of exciting things going on right now, and is anxious for baby to get her! We are hoping that is adding to her craziness right now! Time will tell!

Jamison-he is the same old smiley guy! He is standing a lot more, and walks with assistance. Just not brave enough to venture out on his own yet. He has some great knee walking going on though!!! He still gets everywhere, FAST!!! I think he will easily get out of trouble with that little grin he gives us though! I see a big big trouble maker.

Brooklyn and Jamison are playing together much more these days. Jamison is finally getting big enough they enjoy some of the same things! But we still have our sister and brotherly fights!

Aunt Julie has been here the past week. In reality we had planned on having the baby by now, and that she would have been here for that. But of course in stead, the baby decided to be stubborn and just give her a weeks vacation. But she has gotten a lot of quality time with Brooklyn and Jamison! They are going to miss her big time, so will mommy and daddy, as she has been a huge help!

Good Ol' Iowa Sweet Corn

Aunt Julie brought some good ol' Iowa Sweet Corn with her, and boy was it good!!!

One more birthday present....

Once things got settled down and the rest of the toys away...we finally got the last of Jamison's birthday presents out. It sure was fun!!!

Better late than never!! Swinging fun!

Brooklyn has always enjoyed swinging! She caught on right away at daycare and loves to use our swingset at home now!

But up until now she has had to swing alone.....but no more!!!
This little guy got a swing for his birthday from Grandma Mary.

And boy does he like it!!

No more watching on the side lines for this little boy!!

He is now part of the action!

Thanks Grandma Mary and Papa Vince!! Although it was 2 months in the making, it was well worth the wait!!

Dance Party!

We love to dance!! Jamison has picked up some moves of his own already! And well Brooklyn....she has always been quite the dancer!

As you watch also notice the little "knee walk" Jamison does to get around. He does this quite often and must think this is easier than learning how to walk!

It was time for Jamison to get some professional one year pics taken. And he did great!!! When I took Brooklyn she screamed the majority of the time, I even took her back for re-do's and she screamed then too! So I am SO pleased with the way these turned out!! Most of these were the first takes!! Jamison is such a happy guy and I think pictures really show his personality!

These are all great, right?? That's our smiley guy!! ***Now, to all of you that are thinking "I need to print these off becuase this little guy is so cute I just can't get enough of him"...PLEASE DON'T! Believe me....I spent some GOOD MONEY on getting these and there should be one coming your way soon. The pictures should be in on July 21st, and I will send them your way as soon as I can!! :)

Family Outing

As if two birthday parties and a 4th of July celebration weren't enough, let's add a trip to the zoo in there for the weekend

Although Mommy's 9 month pregnant self quickly realized it may have not been her best idea, it was still well worth it!!

When I asked Brooklyn what her favorite animal was, she said all of them! And Daddy thinks the tiger was Jamison's favorite-I would agree since Jamison roared a little for us to prove it!

Another fun family adventure! And quite possible one of the last family adventures as a family of four! So glad we got the kids to the zoo before our next bundle of joy gets here and we become a family of FIVE!!
