It happened. It finally happened. One of our very own went down.
We got a call Friday afternoon that Raegan had a little accident at daycare. So we went and checked out to see how bad it was, and confirmed that she indeed needed some stitches!
She had fallen on a vent that had fallen out of a door and cut her knee.
When I got to daycare to pick her up, no tears, just sitting there waiting.
She did have a few tears when I put her in the van, but we quickly averted the crisis!
We went up to daddy's work so we could get stitched up. Raegan let out a few tears and screams when they were injecting it to numb the area, but after that a few rounds of Wheels on the bus made everything better.
After she got fixed up with five stitches, I think the numbing medicine was still working becuase she was down dancing and running around in no time! It wasn't really until the next day that she seemed to be bothered by her boo-boo. But she is still running around like crazy, she is just careful with it, which is good!
She keeps telling me "my boo boo ok mommy". So I must have asked her too many times if she was ok, now she just let me know!
It was no surprise the Raegan was the first Nerio kid to recieve stitches. But will she be the last???
