Pumpkin Patch and Daycare update

Well, let me start out this post with an update on our daycare situation.  Since Brooklyn was three months old, we have used Woodland Acres Baptist Church as our daycare.  It was through the church and was open 7-6.  We dropped our kids off before work, and picked them up after.  And for the last 6 years, they have done a pretty great job of watching after our kiddos, keeping them safe, and loving them!  However, in July we found out that they were closing their doors.  So a change was coming!  We ended up hiring one of the daycare workers to be an in home nanny for us.  Ms. Kandle has been a great addition to our family, and all of our kids love her just as much as she loves them.  She comes here everyday and stays with Raegan all day, picks up Jamison at 10:45, picks up Brooklyn at 2:50, feeds them lunch, does crafts and projects with them, and things have been working out great.

Anyway---Kandle had planned a day at the pumpkin patch for Jamison's class that she had while they were still at Woodland Acres.  Kind of a reunion....

So off to the pumpkin patch we went!  It was a fun day!  It was hard to keep any of the kids together, so I focused on keeping my three kids together, and we still all had fun!

Dad was out of town at a football game, so he didn't get to go.... maybe next year!

More randomness

Brooklyn lost one of her top teeth!  She is really growing up and has also went to a few sleepovers and a couple of her friends' house recently!

Girls playing in the backyard!
Jamison got some boxers from Grandma Iowa.  What a man!

The girls wanted to sleep together in Brooklyns bed one night.
 They look pretty cozy!

Singing in church

Both Brooklyn and Jamison sang in church on Sunday.  Brooklyn is a seasoned veteran, so no big deal!  Jamison however is a rookie, and this would be his first time singing in big church....do you think he looks nervous???

I think his teacher told him to stand still and not move.   He took it literally!  I would wave at him every once in a while, and he might crack a smile, but he was mostly business!!!
So grown up!

A little of this and that

We went for Ice Cream one night.  I think it was because the kids were doing so well in school and got good report cards!  Who cares why really, ice cream is fun no matter what it is for!

Jamison in his Tulsa helmet that Daddy got for him.  (kind of made, thanks to the TU Equipment staff!)

Our princess Raegan!

Eating out on our deck!  I see many nights of doing this in our future!!!  Love this space!

We have also been very fortunate that both Brooklyn and Jamison have classmates that live right up the street (they are brother and sister).  Brooklyn also has another friend that lives one street over, and her brother will be in the same grade as Raegan.  Anyway---we have had many evenings playing outside, riding bikes, etc.

Todays sports of choice for the boys was football!

And the girls chose to put on make up!

Love our new neighborhood!

Random photos

Most of these are off of my phone, so there is a little bit of everything!

I had to take this picture one night after baths, I thought he looked so grown up!  So big!!

Meet Goldie!  The new ambassador for TU.  We love her!!!  She just looks like the cutest dog ever!!!!!  We can't wait to meet her!

Guess she was tired here!

Messy face!

Our dad has a cool job!  And we like to go visit him!  Especially Jamison!!!

This is Cody Green.  He is the quarterback at TU.  Our kids also think he is cool, and one of the few players that they recognize and know his name.  Jamison especially is a fan of his!  Someday he will realize that not many kids get to hang out at a DI University and meet the athletes, let along go to practice every once in awhile!

S-T-U-D!

Look at these pony tails!!!!!  ADORABLE!!!!!!!

Jamison has been working hard at writing his letters and his name.  He has improved a lot!!

So happy he could just pee outside I guess!

Field Trip

Brooklyn's first grade class was scheduled to go on a field trip to Livesay Orchard.  Luckily mom had a personal day at work she could take so that she could go with once!!

So glad I got to go with!!
