The 4th on the Farm

We went out to the farm for the 4th of July to look around on the farm and have a good ol' family Fourth of July picnic!

 

We started off on the combine!

Then went to the tractor

Then a forklift:

Even got to get in a semi!

 They had a calf that was being bottle fed so it was in the barn separate from the rest of the cows, so we got to get really close!

And we got to see some of the big cows too!

 

 Brooklyn wanted to see how big the hay bales were, she couldn't believe those things you see from way far away were that big!

  Got to see how tall the corn was!

The kids loved the cake pops, and I love their faces in the next few pics HAHAHAH!!

 Although we didn't get to stay real long, we had a really nice picnic lunch.  We sat outside in the shade, and it was so nice!!  It was a great day in our red white and blue.  So glad we got to see some family that we don't see very often!

Another birthday party!

We decided to have another celebration with Grandma Iowa for the kids' birthday and invite some other family up so that we got to see more of our Iowa fam!

Then it was party time.  And by Partytime I mean Christmas in July!  SPOILED KIDS!!!

We had a great time, and got see Aunt Peggy, Uncle Mike, Marie, Uncle Bill and Aunt Nell, Aunt Patty, and also got some really great present from everyone!!!
