Brooklyn's first soccer game

Brooklyn decided that she wanted to give soccer another try. So we signed up for a league through Tulsa Parks. She had her first game on Saturday and did great! She got to be the captain and got to call the coin toss, and also got the first kick of the game. For her first game I was very impressed! Good thing this soccer mom already has her mini-van!

Grandma Iowa visited this past weekend!  It was a great visit--we sure did keep her busy.  Pizza Bingo, Soccer game, Spring Football Game, Planted flowers, played with kids, cleaned the house!  Hopefully we didn't abuse our visitor!

Brooklyn's Carnegie (as Raegan calls is) has a fundraiser each year called Pizza Bingo.  We had a fun and exhausting night!!!

She did a wonderful job!  She is really getting better each year!

 

We were lucky this year because we had a few extra visitors in the audience!  Uncle Jason, Aunt Angela, Katherine and Luca were able to join us!  Cousin Katherine was so sweet and brought Brooklyn a balloon, and Grandma Mary got Brooklyn these beautiful flowers!

 

 

I didn't get any pictures of Raegan--but she just danced and danced and danced in the isle the whole show!  I think next year there may be an extra Nerio added to the ballet class!

So proud of you Brooklyn!  Great job!!!

Easter Party

After Church we had everyone over for a big lunch and Easter party as the kids called it!

 

Grandma Mary made a fun Easter Bunny Cake that the kids got to decorate!!

And there was plenty of food!!  Four happy kids got to go through the line first!  Aunt Julie and Uncle Jeffy came down for the weekend.  And Mere is just part of our family too, so it was great to have everyone together!

After lunch we enjoyed some time outside!  Papa Vince taking Luca for a slide.

Jason and Angela are moving to Virginia for a few years, as Jason is doing his Navy thing, and will be going out on the water off and on.   We sure will miss watching these two kiddos grow up the next few years!  But  now we have an excuse to go to Virginia to visit!  We will miss them!!!!
