Bowl bound and Beale Street

Tulsa was invited to the Liberty Bowl this year in Memphis TN, and boy were we excited to go!!

Daddy left with the football team on the 26th, but Mommy and the kids stayed in Tulsa so that Mommy wouldn't miss Gretchen's wedding.  Luckily, Aunt Julie agreed to fly into town to help with the kids while mommy was busy at the wedding, and she also agreed to brave the drive to Memphis with us!!

We woke up bright and early on the 30th and were on the road by 6:30 am.  The kids did GREAT in the car!!!!

Right when we got to Memphis, we got to see Daddy for a few minutes, and then we were off to the Parade.

It was pretty cold, but the kids loved it!!

After the parade we went to a TU party on Beale Street.

Living it up on Beale Street!

Let's just say we were happy to get back to the hotel, see our daddy, and put our feet up and have some grape juice!!  Brooklyn looked so comfy in this big bed!!

And off to bed for a good nights sleep for the game tomorrow!!!  GO TU!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Christmas Day is special for a lot of reasons, one of them being it is Daddy's birthday!!! We love you so much Daddy!!! We celebrated with some yummy peppermint ice cream cake, blew out some candles, and opened a few gifts.

Christmas lunch

After finishing opening our gifts from Santa it was off to Papa Vince's and Grandma Mary's to celebrate Christmas with them, Uncle Jason, Aunt Angela, Katherine, Luca, Aun Ru, and Great Grandma Kingsley.

Our little elves delivered all of the gifts....

This is one of the new outfits B got from Santa-she looked adorable!

This little girls tries to compete in the adorable competition as well, and does a great job!

This patient little boy loved opening presents!

Brooklyn got her Girl Scouts vest for her Daisies troop that she is starting, Thanks Grandma Mary!

Luca just took it all in!

Love this man!!!

We had a great Christmas with Family!  Of course it was hectic and fast as always, but lots of love going around too!  Jason and Angela will be moving in late April, and we will miss seeing them and our cousins!  We hope to get down to visit them soon!!

Christmas Morning

Santa found us, and he brought quite the haul!!
Brooklyn was amazed that Santa knew just what she wanted, and knew just what she would like!  That guy is GOOD!

We had a fun time opening presents!  Some of the highlights include:
Brooklyn--her little bumble bee pillow pet, her clipboard and all of her learning books, chutes and ladders, yahtzee, a few craft things, a cute pair of shiny jeans, and a cute cupcake outfit, plus a few other odds and ends.

Jamison--he got his drum, and a BELT (I think he was more excited about his belt!), a monkey pillow pet, a starlight turtle, new sheets and comforter for his bed, a robe, a helicopter and fire truck, and a few other things.

Raegan--some play make up, a leapster game for her Explorer, both of the girls got cabbage patch dolls, some smelly lotion, a robe, and she was very excited about the doll house that they got too!

Lots of smiles on Christmas morning!!!

Jamison wanted to be sure we got every last present out from under the tree!!!  Ha!

Our little drummer boy!

This girl loves this doll house!

Jamison in his big boy bed with new sheets, comforter, a new pillow from Grandpa Iowa, and his new pillow pet.  There is barely room for him in his bed, but he knows the full roster and does bed checks every night!
