Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve was a great day.  Morning was pretty lazy.  In the afternoon we went to Service of the Bells at church and got to see Brooklyn sing.  Afterwards we invited our Cousins over so that we could get some extra time with them!  

We finally got to meet Cousin Luca.  What a sweet little boy!  Raegan loved the baby!!

Uncle Jason was sure to keep the party lively with some dancing!  These kids were wild!!

They finally calmed down a little with some Christmas books and Brooklyn showing them some things on her ipod!

Gosh--how lucky am I to be an Aunt of these two adorable munchkins!

We had a great afternoon and evening with family.  We opened a few quick gifts from Grandpa Iowa and Julie before heading to bed so that we could be ready for all the gifts the guy in the big red suit was bringing!

Grandpa Iowa sent us some pillows with matching canvases to go on our walls!!!  We love them!!!

Thankful

Today I am so thankful and blessed to come home to my three babies and loving husband! I had to let this one fall asleep in my arms and just cuddle! So thankful for a happy and healthy family!!!

Mommy get-a-way

Mommy (and daddy's) good friend Gretchen is getting married.  So mommy had a little bachelorette party get away to Kansas City for a night.

Julie drove down to meet us too!!

We had a great night, too good probably.  And let's just say, the next morning was not great!  Mommy is getting old!

Cheery came back!

Our elf came back! This year she started a new tradition and brought a bunch of wrapped Christmas books! Each night we get to unwrap a new book! We have some great books, fun books, new books, old books, books that help us tell the Christmas story, and books that we can't wait to open again next year, and every year after that!!!

Christmas Program

Our wonderful Daycare had a Christmas program again this year where the kids each sang a few songs.  The kid loved this, they did a great job and knew the words to their songs, and they looked cute doing it!!!

Special thanks to all of the teachers and staff who put in extra work to make this a night for all of us parents to come adore our kiddos!!!
