An early Christmas

Since Grandma Iowa was here for Thanksgiving, we decided to have an early Christmas with her!

Craft Time With Julie

Julie is always good at having a special project for us!

 

And she didn't let us down this time.

 

First we did some snowmen....

 

And then Brooklyn found her next craft--a button tree--she was IN LOVE with this one!! 

She got it finished and it looks great! She also talked Julie into going to get some more supplies so that she can keep making some special crafts of her own!!

Thanksgiving break Football

We had a great Thanksgiving!!  We had a housefull!  Us five, Grandma Iowa, Aunt Julie, Uncle Jonny, Papa Vince and Grandma Mary, Uncle Jason, Aun Ru, and Great Grandma!  We had plenty of food!  And mommy was very proud of her 97% Gluten Free Thanksgiving meal (all but the rolls and two of the three deserts!)  And it all tasted great in my opinion!!

 

And what do you do the day after Thanksgiving?? WATCH FOOTBALL!  So of course, we were in heaven!  The Iowa Hawkeyes played on Friday, so Iowa Football Party it was!!!

 

Notice that Jamison has added a mouthpiece to his helmet--that was the one last detail he had been missing, and asking for!!!

 

Although the Hawkeyes lost, we sure had fun cheering!!!!

This picture makes me melt!!

 Our little guy Jamison made the sports highlights!!! Ok- in all reality, he is just running around on the football field with his dad after our last regular season home game. (Mom and the girls went to watch volleyball once the game was over!). Let's hope he has more sports highlights in his future!

This picture doesn't get me all mushy because of what it looks like, but more because of what goes on behind the scenes....

Jamison LOVES going to work with Chris. And I mean LOVES!!!!!!! His face goes from sincerely sad and heartbroken to having a twinkle in his eye when we tell him that he can go!! He Loves it!! And the fact that Chris takes him, and I think would take him every day if he could, that's what gets me all mushy!!

The fact that when Jamison gets home from going with him and he tells me that his dad is his best friend, that's what gets me all mushy!!

The fact that my kids are in heaven going to football games and running around on the football field, and they get to watch their team and their dad on Tv, that's what makes me happy!!!

This picture means that my kids have the coolest dad in the world!!! That's what gets me!!!

Little Turkey!!

This little turkey boy melts my heart!!!! He is so gracious with his Thank You's!! One of my favorite-- 'Thanks for making us dinner mom', he just has me around his little finger!!!

Things I don't want to forget....

The way Jamison says Brookbyn instead of Brooklyn
The way Brooklyn can get her brother and sister to stop crying by reasoning with them
The way the kids scream when daddy gets home
They way they love watching football!!  Jamison loves Saturdays, he will watch ESPN College Gameday, all morning, and asks every two minutes when the games are going to start!  He even likes the highlights!
When TU is playing the kids will go up to the surround sound speakers and yell into it to try and get TU to play better and to win when we have to watch the games at home.
The way Brooklyn screams DEFENSE at football games!
How much Jamison is in LOVE with the band and wanting to play the drums (guess what is on his Christmas list!)
The way Raegan LOVES taking care of her babies!!  She is another great little momma!
The way Brooklyn laughs at the other kids!!  I love that she is old enough and smart enough to realize that they are doing something funny--and she laughs hysterically!
Jamison also laughs hysterically at anything--he doens't have a little giggle or chuckle, everything that is funny is REALLY funny to him!
The kids love eating yogurt!
Jamison is a great negotiator!  Anything he wants is possible!  "But we could..."  "But we could...."  "But maybe...." 
The way Raegan dances and shakes her booty back and forth
The way the kids sing the songs on the radio in the car.  They have their own special songs that are "their song" and they are always asking for me to turn the radio up!
The way Jamison gets UBER excited to go to work with Daddy on Sunday!  He is in heaven! 

I am sure I am forgetting a lot of things.  They are just so dang fun (most of the time anyway!)

Favorite foods are pizza, apples, and cinnamon rolls.
She eats school lunch everyday, and so far no complaints! She gets strawberry milk with it too!
She is my right hand girl, and love her beyond words!!!
