Water fun and an Update!

It has been hot as ever here and it is only may! Most days it has been 90 degrees.

So we broke out a sprinkler one night to cool off and have some fun.

It was the start to our Memorial Day Weekend!

Now for a quick update:

Brooklyn--

She is bossy as ever! Still the little momma!! She is really loving the Ipod Touch that she got for her birthday!! She plays music for us ALL THE TIME!! When we eat, in the car, outside playing--she puts on her music! She is learning a lot of words to songs! Luckily we stuck with Kids Bop and Bob Marley! She is going to daycare all day this summer and they have a "summer camp" for school agers, so she gets to go on field trips. She gets to do a lot of fun things and go a lot of fun places! So far she has been to an art museum, a park, and has done some painting and a cooking project. She is excited to go to a movie next week and to take her bike! She will also get to do fun things like swimming, splash pads, the zoo, etc. So she has a busy summer planned!! I also have swimming lessons planned for the first two weeks in June!

She had her 5 year check up, and did great! She got three shots, and didn't cry! She weighted in at 40pounds, and 43" tall.

Jamison:

This guy is just funny!! He is a boy who loves trains, trucks, the sandbox, spraying water, being outside, being outside, and being outside!! He will bargain every night to go outside! "We could go outside!" "But, we could!" "But we could after we eat!" "But we could eat outside" "But maybe we could go on a walk!" He also thinks everything is HIL-AR-I-OUS! He dies laughing at everything, not a giggle, LAUGHING AS HARD AS HE CAN! He can also be a complete charmer!! He is just too darn cute!!! He is working on being able to spell his name out loud. He is pretty much fully potty trained!! He really did SO well potty training!!!

Raegan:

This girl is TOO much!!!! She is cute, bad, loud, talkative, quiet, shy, outgoing, bossy, sweet, ALL AT THE SAME TIME! Needless to say she is a handful, but a very good handfull! She loves singing songs! ABC's, and Jesus Loves Me are her favorites!! She talks very well-she says everything, and talks in sentences! She is so independent, let me say that again--she is SO independent!!!! She is constantly saying "I do it!" We changed her crib to a toddler bed, and she no longer is using a pacifier. So she is officially a big girl! Looks like potty training is next for her, wish us luck!!!

Needless to say-we are doing great! Everyone is growing up fast!! But we are having a lot of fun along the way!!

Last day of School!!

Brooklyn had her last day of Pre-K!

Here are two pics from her first day. WoW--we have all grown over the past 9 months!!

After work I went and picked up the kids and took them home for a quick bite to eat. Chris was at a meeting in Edmond. We loaded up the car and didn't tell the kids where we were going.

I decided to celebrate the last day of school with a surprise trip to a park that we had never been to before.

The kids loved it! We didn't stay too long though, instead we went and picked up a slushy from Sonic and headed home for a Popcorn and Slushy Party!

The kids loved that too!! What a great last day of school for Brooklyn!

She had a great year! One major thing is that she had PERFECT attendance for the year!! I think that is great! She also mastered all Pre-K skills. If you ask her, she will tell you that she can count to 100, and she will also tell you that she can count backwards from 20, and that that is a Kindergarten skill!! She can write all of her letters, numbers, etc. She knows some words, but are going to work hard this summer to get her reading better! Can you believe that all before she even starts Kindergarten!! I don't think I knew my colors going into Kindergarten--times have changed!!

Looking forward to a fun summer!!!

Naken

The other night the kids help water the flowers and grass. Which meant they were soaking wet. SO--why not take your wet clothes off and run around "Naken" as Raegan would say.

Good thing we have a fence so no one can see, the kids loved running around like this!!

Could be more nights like this if the 90 degree weather continues all summer!!!

Awesome Mother's Day to ME!!

I had an absolute AWESOME Mother's Day!!

Started the day out going to church then it was off for a picnic in the park!

Look at these four...it doesn't get any better than this!!

This little sweet boy,

this crazy woman,

this silly girl,

and this handsome man (even in a shirt with ukuleles on it...)

make me the happiest momma on the planet!!!

After picnic time, it was time to run around.

Then we went and walked around a flower garden at the park.

Look how beautiful this place is!!!

I had to take a picture of this flower!! One of my favorites from when I was little! Snapdragons! They remind me of my Grandma Bev. I remember her having them at her house all the time!!

Then we went to a different park for a little fun!

A quick swing on the tire swing,

and a quick race had us all worn out!!

We came home, took some naps, then went to Qdoba and sat outside and ate dinner! Then home for a quick bike ride with the kids, and we also got to Skype with Grandma Iowa!!! It was a great day!! Thanks to my super hubby and cute kids for making me the happiest momma in the whole wide world!!
