Dance Recital Night

Just as expected--Brooklyn was once again a beutiful ballerina!!

She had her toe nails and fingernails painted, and had makeup on also.  She said she felt like a beautiful princess!

Brooklyn danced to two songs, the first one was "How Great Thou Art"  She did great!

The finale was really the song that Brooklyn had been practicing and liked to do!  FOOTLOOSE!
She knew the words and everything!

It was a great night!  She did wonderful!  She had an audience again, and Jamison and Raegan also really liked watching her!

Then it was Ice Cream afterwards! 

Hair Cut Time

The weather is getting warmer, and that means it is time to give Jamison his summer hair cut!

Chris was especially sad to see Jamison's long hair go!  It was pretty cute.  But I love this little guy in his summer buzz!!  I think he looks so big!!  What a handsome little boy!

Easter

The Easter Bunny found our house, a brought lots of goodies with him (or her!).   By the time Easter rolled around, I think everyone was feeling good enough to hunt for eggs, and I think everyone ate lunch that day.  (Only Daddy and Aunt Patty made it to church, and we had to cancel all other family adn friends coming over)  Like I said before, not quite the Easter weekend we had planned!

So glad everyone is starting to be healthy again!  And overall our Easter was pretty good!

Grandma Iowa

Well, Grandma Iowa and Aunt Patty made it down for Easter, but with everyone being sick, I did a bad job of taking pictures!

But from the pics below, you would never know anyone was sick!

As always, we loved our visitors!!  We did a craft with Patty Friday night and made some t-shirts, pics to come!  But otherwise we were pretty boring, and didn't leave the house!

We did help do a little of the cooking...

 And I think Raegan looks hilarious in this picture!!

Easter Prep

Well, we are going on day 9 of having the stomach flu in our house!  It has now hit Jamison and Brooklyn!  And Grandma Iowa and Patty have come to visit for Easter weekend.  But let's just say Easter weekend isn't quite going as planned!!  Today Brooklyn had to stay home from Soccer, miss a birthday party, and we all had to stay home and miss TU's Spring Football game--BREAKS MY HEART!  I hate the kids missing out on things!

But one thing we didn't have to miss out on was coloring Easter eggs!

I think they did a great job!! 

Happy Spring

We all made a fun little treat recently.  We made some "carrots" to deliver to some of our favorite people.  The tags on them say "Some bunny loves you" with the kids' names on them.

We had fun one night driving around and delivering them!

One person that was lucky to get one was Great Grandma Kingsley.  And Jamison got the honors of delivering hers....

Looks like he was pretty proud of himself!

It was fun to see all of the kids help put them together!  And even more fun delivering them!

Church Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Egg Hunt after church on Palm Sunday was once again a success!!

Raegan still was not feeling well--she was probably only there for 20 minutes, but it completely wore her out!

But don't worry--nobody went home empty handed!!

Brooklyn's First Soccer Practice

Brooklyn decided that she wanted to try soccer this year--so soccer it is!

She was all ready in her new cleats so that she could run fast.

Other than a few complaints of it being hot, she did great for her first time!  And she said she wants to go back!!   Looks like I may be an official Soccer Mom!!

Our day was a little off anyway because Raegan was still very sick!  So Grandma Mary stayed home with her while Daddy had football practice and Mommy to Brooklyn and Jamison to soccer.  After soccer Mommy ended up taking Raegan to Urgent Care.  She hadn't been able to keep anything down for over 48 hours and was looking very ill!  They gave her some medicine so that she could atleast keep down a popsicle!  It still made for a long stressful day, and I am sure there are more to come!!
