Spring Break Part 3

Just as we thought our Spring Break was winding down, and just as Julie and Jeffy left, we got a pleasant surprise--a visit from Cousin Katherine and Aunt Angela!!

We were also incredibly happy that it was finally nice again outside so that we could go play!

Mommy had fun with the camera and went a little overboard with the pictures.  But they were all just so cute, and there were so many great, funny, and candid pictures, that I had include them!!! 

 

They are all just so cute!!!!  We can't wait until Easter when they come back into town!!

Spring Break Part 2: Brooklyn's FIRST Haircut

One of our adventures during spring break was to go get Brooklyn's hair cut for the first time!

Here is a before picutre.

 Daddy went first (you can see him in the back ground)  So we had fun while we waited!

Brooklyn got her hair cut by her great Uncle Enrique (Papa Vince's brother).  She did great, was SO brave, and her hair looks great!  We just got a couple of inches off, so it is still long, but it looks nice and healthy!

I have a feeling we have many more salon visits in our future with this Diva!!

Spring Break Part 1

Spring Break 2012 got off to a great start with Aunt Julie and Uncle Jeffy coming down!  We had been anxiously awaiting this company for quite some time!

We have really been missing Julie, and whenever we mention Jeffy's name, Jamison says "I like him" in a sweet little voice!

They got here Saturday evening about bedtime.  Sunday we were ready to take them outside to play!

That was pretty much the only nice day there was while they were here!  It rained EVERY other day!

But we still entertained them!!  We always have a great time with them!!

Carnegie Jog-A-Thon

Brooklyn had a little fundraiser at her school.  It was a jog-a-thon.  Each kids runs so many laps, and they try to raise money as well.  They had trained a little bit (ran a couple of laps each day at recess.)  And Brooklyn was sure to wear her tennis shoes the day of the race!  According to Brooklyn, she ran the best!  She said she ran 15 laps, and everyone else only ran 12 or 13 laps.  She made one pit stop for a drink of water, and then got more water after! 

Do we have a future runner on our hands??

Time to call it quits!

Well--after about 30 years, these boots have gone into retirement!

These were the boots that I (Jill) wore when I was a little girl.  Jamison has been wearing them lately!

However he wore them to school one day---and this is how they ended up!

I think we probably got our money's worth out of them!

Party's rockin in the house tonight!

The kids have enjoyed playing with the Wii lately!

Here we are trying out the new dance game the kids got for Christmas from Uncle Jason and Aunt Angela.

This white boy looks like he could use some lessons!!  HA--Shake it daddy!

This game makes for a great laugh with adults!  Brooklyn does a great job at it though!!
