Brooklyn's School Pic

I promised, and yes, I actually came through and remembered!  Is this little Pre-K Cutie not just the cutest thing you have seen all day??  Gosh-- I love her!

Visit with Santa

Ok--I admit this isn't the best picture in the world.  But--do you see what I see??  I see three kids sitting on Santa's lap!!!  And two of them AREN'T Crying!!!  I say this is a Christmas miracle!!!  Raegan actually did ok too, there just wasn't enough room on Santa's lap, and she didn't like it!  This is a HUGE step from Brooklyn, past years, we were lucky just to look at Santa from 50 yards away--not even wave!  So this is Major!!  Jamison did great too!!

Brooklyn asked for a movie about Baby Jesus and Mary and Joseph
Jamison asked for a blanket and a truck
Raegan didn't have much to say!

They each got a cookie before we left!  Jamison still talks about going to see Santa and getting a cookie.

Can't wait to see if Santa brings them what they asked for!

2011 Ornament

Look at this A.DOR.ABLE Christmas Ornament--is it not SO cute!?!  Jamison, along with the help of his Wonderful Daycare teachers made it!  It is actually his fingerprints!!!  Then Miss Kandle dressed them up in TU gear!!  It is so cute!!!  Brooklyn in her cheerleading outfit, Jamison with a football helmet on, and Raegan with that darn binky, and a bow in her hair!!  I love it!  And have I mentioned how much I love our daycare and everyone there??  We are so blessed to have wonderful people look after our precious little ones!!  I need to try and take some pics of some of the other artwork and projects they do, becuase the are WAY Great!!!

My three little wisemen

After opening presents, the kids got their jammies on, and were ready for a little dance party.

Wisemen style.

Are they not just adorable??

The kids have really been into baby Jesus lately--reading books, watching movies about him, etc.  Brooklyn got a Radio City Rockettes movie that they love dancing with, and at the end is a Live Nativity Scene.  Jamison LOVES the camels and wisemen.  He has REALLY been paying attention to the books and at school and sunday school!  He keeps telling us how Mary rode the donkey and Jofes (Joseph) walked.  And that the wisemen rode on the camels.  He is TOO much!

So blessed!!

Christmas--Take 1--Grandma Iowa Style

Lucky for us--Grandma made a visit this weekend!
Just what every kid wants--to open presents a week before Christmas!

And Grandma Iowa spoiled them rotten!!!

See for yourself!
A BOOK!

A book about Trucks!!

She LOVED her presents!!

Jamison was so excited here!!

He threw the lego's around his neck and said "my drum"

LOTS OF TRAINS AND TRACTORS!!!!

Daddy was pretty excited about all the boxes and having to take things out!!
We all got some great gifts!!!  Jamison is in LOVE with his trains and tractors, Raegan loves her Bottles for her BABIES, Brooklyn loves her doll that she can do the hair on and a My Little Pony.  We all got some warm jammies, mommy got a great Tulsa Shirt and a super cute tote bag too!

What a fun weekend with Grandma Iowa!!  She even got to see our very first visit with Santa--stay tuned for the picture!!

Oh Christmas Tree

An attempt to get a good pic of the kids in front of the Christmas tree....
Yes, the first one is the best.  But the rest are hilarious!!

All of this, just so we could open presents from Grandma Iowa!!  We just can't wait!!!!
Especially Jamison--it was obviously killing him!

Introducing CHEERY!

Meet Cheery
SHE is our elf!  Our "Elf on the Shelf".  In case you haven't heard, Santa packages up elves, and throws in a book and sends them all over to help watch and make sure you are being good.

Every night, when you are sleeping, the elf flies to Santa to give him their report. And then comes back and finds a new spot to "hide".  And each morning, you get the fun of finding the elf and seeing what they have been up to while you are sleeping.

Another fun thing is that you get to name your elf yourself.  Brooklyn came up with the name Cheery, and claimed she was a girl!  Sounded good to the rest of us.

Here are a few places we have found Cheery so far.

It's a lot of fun having a REAL ELF!  Brooklyn was SUPER excited when she showed up on our doorstepadn we read the book lots, and have watched the movie over and over!  What a fun tradition to start!  I will be sad when we have to say goodbye to Cheery on Christmas when she goes back with Santa until next Holiday Season!

P.S.  Since these pictures, Cheery has been sporting a cute skirt and has been wearing a bow on her hat.  She is so stylish!

No excuses

I have no excuse for my lack of posting besides just being darn lazy!!  Ok--maybe I am just exhausted from running after these three kiddos and trying to keep up with the hustle and bustle of the Holiday Season!  So--I will try to catch you up...  Let's start with Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was great--but somewhat bittersweet!  Uncle Jason, Aunt Angela, and Cousin Katherine came into town.  The kids had a great time together!!!!  They were so much fun to watch!

We did have a little sadness to our holiday--Chris's Grandpa Kingsley passed away a few days before Thanksgiving.  So although we were enjoying having family together, many hearts were hurting.  Chris' grandpa was a big part of his life, and I know Chris has many great memories of him.  Chris has a few of the same loves as his grandpa, including Ice Cream, Strawberries, and Pepper (not together).  And I am so proud that Jamison has the middle name Kingsley as well.  Although our hearts were aching, I am happy to know that we all have a new angel looking out for us.

Chris had a football game the day Thanskgiving, so we were all able to go to that!  We love us some Tulsa Football. We did the second half thing again, and ran around on the field after for a bit.  We also got to see our good friend Mere, so that was an added bonus!

We got our tree up on Saturday and all decorated!  Brooklyn was great help and very excited!  Jamison and Raegan have done a good job of not pulling the tree over.   Needless to say, tree is up, stocking are hung, nativity set out, we are ready for Christmas!!
