We don't do this very often, but since Grandma Iowa was in town and it was her birthday on Sunday, we decided to take the whole gang out for dinner. So BBQ it was!

This picture is a little blurry, but you can see how excited Raegan was about it!

Grandma taught Raegan a new trick, she can now do the Indian pow wow noise!

Jamison was also very excited to go out also--this is his CHEESE!

All the kids were great! I guess mom needs to get over her phobia of going out in public and not have so many panic attacks, and maybe we can go out more often!!

On Saturday Brooklyn got a special outfit for a special day out with Mommy and Grandma Iowa. How cute is she!?!?!

Her big outing was to see the musical Beauty and the Beast. She did great through the whole show!! What a fun day!!

Baptism

This pretty little girl was baptized today!! What a special day!

Grandma Iowa came into town for the celebration, and today also just happened to be her birthday as well!

Catch up

Well, to catch you up quickly as to what we have been up to the past month...

1.--Snowed in!! Major snow storm in Tulsa (see pictures in a previous post) gave mommy 9 days off of school becuase of snow! As well as keeping daddy and the kids home too!

2.--Being SICK, and I mean SICK!! Brooklyn and Jamison both had Type A flu, Raegan had RSV and an Ear Infection, Daddy was sick with what was probably the flu also, which turned into pneumonia. Mommy--well, she snuck by without getting sick, but barely kept her sanity trying to get everyone else healthy! Especially when we are all stuck inside in the snow!

3.--Trying to get back to normal! What is normal anyway?? Everyone got healthy, just in time to turn around and catch another cold! Raegan is getting her two bottom teeth in, and the poor girl isn't breaking them in easily! Lots of sleepless nights!!

But, I think we are finally back into the swing of things!

Six months old!

This little girl is six months old!

What she is up to these days....

Rolls over--sticking everything in her mouth (thinking teeth soon...but none for now)--talks and talks and talks--smiles a lot--is sitting up!--likes to be in the walker--and does some 360's (we see crawling in her near future!)--she is eating baby food--has been sleeping all night for quite some time now--and can't wait to catch up to her big brother and big sister!!

She weighed 17 lbs 2 oz. I think Brooklyn was about a pound less than this at 6 months!

And was 27" tall The same height as Brooklyn at that age.

We can't wait to see what is in store next for her! And for us!!

SNOW ICE CREAM

I guess this is our Snow storm tradition--snow ice cream! SO YUMMY!!

We mixed some Strawberry topping into some!

And don't worry--there is plenty of snow...so plenty of ice cream to go around!

BLIZZARD 2011

Approximately 72 hours after having 75+degree weather we welcomed Blizzard 2011. The worst the Tulsa area has seen! Set many records--snow fall amount in one day, most for month of Feb (and it all came in one day), and then record cold temps to follow!

We ended up with approximately 15 inches of snow, and as I post we have ALL been snowed in for 4 days now!! Tulsa is not even close to capable to clear the streets for this amount of snow!!
