Sunny and 75 in January!

That's right!!  The last weekend in January and we are outside playing with no coats on!! 

The morning started with Daddy taking the two littlest on a walk while Mommy and her big girl helper got groceries!

 Then big girl got to take her bike for a spin!

 Then it was playtime outside for ALL the kids!!  Some watched, some played!

Swinging, sand box, running around, and lots of fun!!   Yay for the sunshine!!

SNOW DAY!

Time to play!!

Step 1:  Spend 30 minutes finding clothes and getting bundled up

 Step 2:  Take off mittens so that you can play with the tractor

 Step 3:  Eat the snow

Step 4:  Make snow angels  (Later Brooklyn told me she didn't think she did it right becuase she didn't think it looked like an angel :))

 Step 5:  CRY becuase my hands are freezing--see step 2--this guy did not want to wear any sort of mittens!

 Step 6:  Eat MORE SNOW!

 Step 7:  Eat MORE SNOW!  Brooklyn was eating snow everytime I looked at her!!

 Step 8:  Have daddy pull us around in the neighbors sled!  Daddy said Jamison LOVED this!!



And last but now least--come inside for some hot chocolate!

Brooklyn

Just a few quick shots of Brooklyn at the birthday party she went to--I mean bounced at!

Brooklyn finally (now at her 3rd party here) was brave enough to go down the slide by herself!

Oh--did I happen to mention the birthday party was for her boyfriend Jake!?!  (And his twin brother Drew)

Chris said he went up and gave her a hug after he opened her present.

We love bath time!!

This doesn't happen very often...but Brooklyn thought it was HILARIOUS

 that all three of them could take a bath at the same time!

 This guy---daddy---is the best!!  Mommy's hands don't handle being in the water for very long very well-her skin will just peel off thanks to her psoriasis--so daddy is the #1, bestest ever, go to guy bath giver!!

Grandma Iowa!

We sure did have fun with Grandma Iowa! 

Jamison loved having someone extra around to read books to him....over and over and over again!

 Raegan loved having someone extra around to cuddle with!

And Brooklyn loved having someone around to be spoiled by!  Puppy chow, breakfast out for pancakes, surprises, getting to stay up late, and to show off to!

We were very thankful she was able to come down while Mommy was down and out!! 

And who doesn't love getting to be with their Grandma!?!?! 

Started out sprinting!

Well 2011 has started out in a full sprint!!  The last three weeks have been one thing after another!  Mom had to go back to work on Jan. 3rd after a busy filled winter break!  Daddy got an extra week and boy was he busy that week!  Lots of things crossed off the honey-do list!!  Then mommy had to be "out of order" for a few days.  After a minor surgery on her belly (unfortunately not a tummy tuck, but rather had to have a hernia fixed--two pregnancies in two years got her!) mommy was placed on the injured reserve list!  Luckily Grandma Iowa came in to help daddy with the kids!  We sure did have fun with her here-I will leave that for a seperate post!  Brooklyn had a birthday party-Jamison had a check up at the doctors (18 months already!)-add in a few sleepless nights and that pretty much sums up the past three weeks!

Now we are all back to work and school, yet still trying to get back into the swing of things...

New Year's

Well-I have to say that the New Years came and went without any extra attention from the Nerio's! 

Our good friend Meredith came to visit for a few days!  It was SO nice to see her!  We relaxed, and did NOTHING, NOTTA, NOT A THING!  We ate, watched TV/football, laid around, and were boring!   We were so boring, I don't even have any pictures!!  The kids of course, didn't even realize that the day was different from any other!  So once the clock struck midnight, it was off to bed to catch some ZZZZZ's!

So Happy New Year everyone!  We hope that 2010 was wonderful to you, but of course we hope that 2011 is full of greatness!  One of the great things of keeping this blog is that we can look back at the past year to see what all we have done, and boy is it fun to see how we have grown in the past 12 months!  We are thankful for the addition of Raegan this year, as well as watching her great big sister Brooklyn grow as well as big brother Jamison!  We are thankful for a happy healthy family!   We are so blessed to have everything we do---a roof over our heads, beds to sleep in, cars to drive, warm clothes, food to eat, lots of hugs and kisses to go around, lots of smiles and laughs being heard, jobs to support our family, and safe place to take our kids each day, friends and family that love and support us, and of course our faith to keep us on the right path!  I am so thankful and blessed!  I hope that 2011 is just as wonderful!
