Well, Santa knew we were needing an extra day to get back in order around our house, so he dropped off all our gifts on the night of the 25th, so the morning of the 26th, IT WAS ON!!! Luckily Julie and Jon were feeling better! And although we were still all in slow motion, we got every present open!
As you can see we had lots of fun, and Santa was very very good to us, so were Grandma Iowa and Grandpa Iowa! Here are some of our favorites:
Brooklyn-a new leap frog game and games to go with it, books, drawing stuff, a cash register, a shopping cart, new tennis shoes, church shoes, socks, clothes, pajamas, high heels, an UNO game,a scooter, and lots of other stuff!
Jamison-Chuck the truck, a car ramp, clothes, pajamas, big boy underwear, a football, and lots of other stuff!
Raegan-clothes, pajamas, toys, diapers, food, and lots of other stuff!
Daddy and Mommy each got big stuff too! Daddy got a new Wii and Mommy got a new Camera!
Although there were lots of presents open, we were just SO glad to be home and be a family again! The kids were fun and loved everything! What a wonderful Christmas!!

Christmas 2010
Well, Christmas 2010 has come and gone! And boy was it a whirlwind of a couple days!
Mommy and daddy were on a flight Christmas eve night from Hawaii, and the flight was going to get back a little later than planned. Luckily mommy and daddy saw Santa and his sleigh up in the sky and were able to tell him to postpone his stop to the Nerio house by one night.
Chris and Jill got back around 1:00pm on Christmas day. We came home to a couple of sick and tired caretakers! Jon had gotten pretty sick the night before and was out of commission, so Julie was flying SOLO! She did an awesome job, but was "EXHAUSTED!" When we got home, we were all a little exhausted and out of sorts! Eventually we got around to making it over the Grandma and Grandpa Nerio's to celebrate Christmas with them! We had a great time, although we were all a little tired and stressed. So we ate quick and opened presents even quicker! But boy are we blessed and had a good time!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Nerio and Kingley clans! We love you all very much!!

Tis the season!
Before going to Hawaii we had a great time getting ready and enjoying THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!!
Jamison all lighted up!
Our very own reindeer!
We watched lots of Christmas shows on TV!
OH, CHRISTMAS TREE.....
Let it snow....
Let it snow, let it snow!
And believe it or not, we did all say Hello to Santa this year! Up close! Santa made it to Brooklyn's Christmas program at school. Jamison has been pretty fascinated with Santa on TV, so we didn't have to twist his arm too hard. Brooklyn was a little hesistant. Unfortunately we don't have any pictures as proof as our hands were being held and squeezed too tight, and neither mommy or daddy could free up to get a photo! But we did it, that is what matters! Keep in mind we just went up and said hi...not sit on his lap! We will save that for next year....hopefully!

Chris and Jill off to Hawaii!
Merry Christmas Hawaiian style!!
TU was invited to the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl to be played on December 24th.

Sounds great, right---a week's paid vacation to Hawaii. NOT SO GREAT TO A MOM WITH THREE YOUNG KIDS---when I heard this I went into instant panic mode!!! How in the heck am I going to leave my three kids for a week???? But do you dare take three kids on an eight hour plane ride and then deal with crazy schedules and a four hour time change?? Oh-what a dilema! Luckily we have great family that helped make the decision easier. Aunt Angela volunteered to come down and help out along with Aunt Julie and Uncle Jon for a couple of days, And Grandma Mary was around to help out and Karla checked in also! We can't thank them enough!!!! Anyway--we decided that just Chris and Jill would go for a much needed vacation? and leave the kids with our great help! (easier said then done by the way!)
So we left December 19th, early in the morning. Needless to say, we were lost with no diaper bags, no one to carry, no one to worry about besides ourselves--but we had a great time! Unfortunately jet lag and a possible stomach bug had us tied down to not being as adventurous as we would have liked, but it didn't stop us either!!
Here is a look at the various adventures of our week!
Mommy and Daddy in hotel ready to head out. We were welcomed with beautiful Lei's at the airport!

Tulsa played a GREAT game and came away with the win! Great way to end the trip!!
We flew home after the game (delayed a little, and it was an overnight flight... :()
And were glad to be home! Got back around 1:00 in the afternoon on Christmas day! Since we got home a little later than planned, Santa delayed his stop to the Nerio house by one day! But no one noticed and Christmas was still great!
We had a great trip to Hawaii and are very thankful that we got some time to have uninterrupted conversations and days to sleep in past 6:00am! I sure to love my husband and was glad to spend the week with him, but I sure did miss my babies!
Everything was fine the week we were away! Angela did a wonderful job taking care of our three and cousin Katherine, and Jon and Julie were a good relief! Many many thanks to them!
Mele Kalikimaka--Merry Christmas!!
