Outing #2-The Pumpkin Patch

You ask for a pumpkin patch, you get a pumpkin patch!  Brooklyn has been asking if we could go to a pumpkin patch, so Mommy had to find a good one to go to! And boy did we have fun!

The weather has been beautiful here!!  We had a great day to go pick out some pumpkins, take some pictures, see some animals in the petting zoo, and enjoy the afternoon as a family!

Outing #1-TU Football Game

Luckily Aunt Julie came to town!   So mom has some extra help to take all three kids out and about!  Our first outing-to the TU football game!  It was LOTS and LOTS of work to get everyone naps in time, get everyone fed, and dressed, and just to get to the game.  THEN to try and control three kids during a football game is a whole other level of work!  Luckily Aunt Julie was there, plus we sit next to Grandma Mary and Papa Vince, so we have lots of help entertaining!

But we got to see Daddy so it was ALL WORTH IT x100!!

GO TULSA!!!

This Tulsa Cheerleader LOVES her Aunt Julie!!

This little guys loves her lots too!

This girl made it through the whole game with no major breakdowns!
Overall it was a great night!  Lots of work, but we had fun!

My superhero's

These are our two superhero's

SUPER CUTIE and CAPTAIN ADORABLE!!

Capes and all!  We are ready to take on anything!!!

Dr's visits/Updates

We have spent our fair share at the dr's office lately.  Raegan had a two month check up (Sept.27th), and Jamison had a 15 month check up (Oct. 4th).

Raegan weighed in at 11pounds 12 oz., which is in the 75th percentile.  And it looks like she is going to be a tall one, as she was 24inches long, which is in the 95th percentile!
But kind of to our surprise Raegan had ear infections on both ears.  Seriously??  Already??  Two months old and two ear infections.... this can't be happening!  So on our first antibiotics we go!  Let's hope this doesn't happen again!!  Raegan goes back to the doctor tomorrow (Oct. 11th) to have her ears re-checked, and she will have to get shots then too.

Raegan has been eating a lot more lately!  She is also getting on more of a routine, which is a huge relief!  I am also proud to say that to this point (now at 11 weeks old) Raegan has been 100% a breast milk baby!  For those of you who have never breast fed, it is one of the hardest things I have ever done, and very time consuming.  Worth every minute, but hard (especially when going back to work)!!  Doesn't look like I will be able to keep it up much longer as this girl has decided she wants MORE MORE MORE!!!
________
Jamison weighed in at 22 pounds 11 oz.  I was surprised this was just in the 25th percentile!  Looks like we need this kid to pack on the pounds!! He stands at 31 3/4" tall which is in the 75th percentile.  He has been doing much better with his ears.  The doctor said they were all clear and she could see the tubes just fine!!  He has been saying a lot more words lately too!  BUT, (there is always a but...) he has had a cough and runny nose for the last 6 weeks.  Looks like this little guy is going to have allergies just like his dad!!  We are going to try a little allergy medicine for a few weeks until it gets cold and hopefully they won't bother him then!  Unfortunately Oklahoma is TERRIBLE for allergies!!   Hopefully this won't last long!

Jamison did have to get shots this last time, never fun, but he took it like a champ!!
_______
Luckily Brooklyn has steered clear of the doctor's office, But we do need to go get her flu shot soon.  But let's not talk about that!!

Here is to staying healthy!!

Kaboom

Mommy thought it would be a good idea to take all three kids outside to enjoy the super nice weather we were having while daddy was out of town.  All went well until it was time to come back in.  Up the steps we went...and Jamison decided he wasn't ready to go in.  So he turned around and tried to go down the steps.  And there he went, I saw it in slow motion and had Raegan in my arms and coudn't dive for him like I would have liked to.  Luckily just a bullseye in the middle of his forehead to show off, but no damage otherwise!  With this guy, it SURELY WON'T BE THE LAST boo boo!!!!

Update.

The weather has been great here recently!  We have gotten outside to play the last few days!!  Raegan has been sleeping in her big girl bed (crib) now in the room with her sister.  I still always want to call it Brooklyn's room, but now I guess it is THEIR room, the GIRLS' room, where the sisters are!  Anyway, Raegan must like her crib as she has been sleeping all through the night!  FINALLY!!  Things are crazy as ever, busy, loud, and hectic, or in other words--Normal!  Normal for us anyway!!  Here are a few recent pics.
Jean skirt and cowboy boots, perfect!!

This says it all!

I recently saw this quote, and have probably repeated it in my head a million times since I saw it!

It says it all!  And it is another one of those things that remind me how lucky I am to have my hands full!  I wouldn't trade it for the world!  And this probably won't be the last time you hear me say it, as I love it SO much that I will be repeating it another million times, atleast!!

"If you think my hands are full,
you should see my heart!"

I LOVE IT!!!

This is our family...ALL COMPLETE!

Brooklyn learned this song at school.  It is just perfect!!  I absolutely love it!
And she just knew the perfect time to sing it to me.....when I was having a bad day, feeling rushed, and my head spinning with my mommy duties.  And then she sings it to me, and puts a smile on my face...
Our family is ALL COMPLETE!  Daddy, mommy, sister, brother, and baby!  Every minute of every day is worth it!!

Brooklyn's special outing

Brooklyn got a special night out on the town with Mommy.  Just HER and mommy!  We headed out to the Tulsa State Fair to go see Disney on Ice.  We were both SO excited!  Brooklyn was sure to have a good week as school so that she could go!

We get there, get some pizza, lemonade, and nachos.  Still all excited.

Get to our seats, still all excited.

Then time for the show to begin. Dim the lights and add a drum roll.....

And not so excited anymore....I had a little girl crying and wanting to go home.  Not sure why..we have been before, and she wasn't scared.  Eventually she calmed down, and we made the whole show.  And once she got home she couldn't stop talking about what a great time she had!

Overall a good night for Mommy and Brooklyn.  We got to see ALL our favorite characters!

DIVA!

This is Brooklyn.  She is probably on the phone doing some important business!  She takes every phone call very seriously, she is often on the phone giving or getting directions, talking to the bank, getting recipes, talking about her options, getting and giving grocery lists, or whatever other conversations she can think of to make herself sound like a grown up!  Listening to her you would think she knew what she was talking about....
Then she turns around and takes a picture of herself on the camera!
EVERY time she has the camera she takes a picture of herself!!!
This girl keeps us on our toes!!
