Family Outing

As if two birthday parties and a 4th of July celebration weren't enough, let's add a trip to the zoo in there for the weekend

Although Mommy's 9 month pregnant self quickly realized it may have not been her best idea, it was still well worth it!!

Jamison looking at the elephants
Brooklyn with the cotton candy she had to have, but didn't eat!
Daddy and the kids taking a break/pose

And a family picture to wind out the day!

When I asked Brooklyn what her favorite animal was, she said all of them! And Daddy thinks the tiger was Jamison's favorite-I would agree since Jamison roared a little for us to prove it!
Another fun family adventure! And quite possible one of the last family adventures as a family of four! So glad we got the kids to the zoo before our next bundle of joy gets here and we become a family of FIVE!!

Family fun

Just a few family pics from Jamison's birthday party and the 4th of July. What a family fun filled 4th of July weekend!! We can't wait to fill it with more family as baby Nerio arrives and as we get to see our Iowa side of the family in the months to come!!

Cousin Katherine enjoying one of Jamison's trucks.
This is a Brooklyn photo of Aunt Angela and Great Grandma Kingsley

Brooklyn sat here with Uncle Jason and Daddy for a long time!! Just relaxing and looking at all the cool things Uncle Jason has on his phone!

And we even had a few firework first timers!

Party Time!

A lot of pictures this time to show Jamison's First Birthday Party! As you can see from the previous post we stuck with a Red, White, and Blue theme since we were having his party over the fourth of July weekend.

So here are a couple of pictures to see how the mood was set. :)

Brooklyn helped with the cupcakes to make sure each one had the right sprinkles on it! Then time for cake again! This picture isn't very clear, but I love Jamison's eyes! He looks so mesmerized by the cake and candle!

And boy did he make a mess!!

Cake two days in a row.... OH BROTHER Jamison says!

Then after a quick clean up this little boy looks pretty happy! But then again Papa Vince can always put a smile on this little guys face!

Cousin Katherine enjoying the party!

Present time again! This was one of the trucks that Brooklyn picked out for Jamison! She did a great job picking out his gifts, every one that she picked out seemed to be his favorite!
And she picked out a Big Truck for him. And boy did he try to help daddy get it out of the box!!

And then he danced when they finally got it out! He has got some pretty mean moves anytime he hears any sort of music!!

And yes, finally I get to play with my truck....vvvvvrrrrrrrr

Um, did this chick just take my truck away??

Well I am taking it back!

And finally a ball pit to play in!! But since it is still in the box, we might as well play on it!!
What a great party!! Jamison got a lot of great clothes and toys! We are so blessed to have such great family and friends!! I would have to say the Jamison's favorite gifts were any of the cars and trucks he got! We sure did have fun!

The real party!

Although we had a small celebration for Jamison on his actual birthday, we had a bigger party for him the next day. Here is a little looky looky at the invite! I love trying to come up with these things!!

Cowgirl to diva--all in a days work!

Saturday morning this was Brooklyn's choice of wardrobe as we lounged around the house! Her Yellow Cheerio t-shirt, pajama shorts, and her boots! She was a COWGIRL!
By Saturday afternoon she had changed into a skirt, got her pretty pink purse, flip flops, and even had some earrings on for Jamison's Birthday Party!
That's my girl!!

A couple birthday video's

Brooklyn getting the festivities off to a good start....

Jamison enjoying his new truck...be sure to listen for his sound effects!

Happy 1st Birthday Jamison!!

Jamison turns one today! Unfortunately he had to go to school/daycare all day. But Mommy and Daddy picked him up early and brought him home for a little birthday celebration. He came in the door and went straight to the present pile--smart boy!!
Then he spotted his cake. And don't turn your back on this little guy....
Becuase now that he is one, he thinks he can climb up on the stool! This is how we turned around to find him!! YIKES!!

Then a little birthday hat party with Brooklyn singing and dancing!

Then dinner, and FINALLy time for cake! This face says it all!!
In the picture below I think Jamison totally looks like a Schnepel boy! Looking at his eyes/eyebrows I think he looks like Grandpa Iowa and his Uncle Jonny! (Scary I know)

Then it was time to dig in! Not only does it look like he is enjoying his cake, but it also looks like he is showing us he is ONE!Now, time to see what is in this bag....PRESENT TIME!!A TRUCK! VVVVRRROOOOMMMM!!! He even started making little vvvvrrrrr sounds!! It was too cute! Then outside for our first time in the sand box that daddy just got finished!! Both him and Brooklyn really had a good time! And we had a good time watching them!

Overall we had a great first birthday celebration for our little guy! And this was the celebration before the celebration! We can't wait for more birthday fun!!
