Baby Cousin Katherine

We are so excited, our first cousin and niece. (However if you ask Brooklyn she will say that Katherine is her baby brother.... she is not quite clear on how this whole family tree thing works). Anyway.... Jason and Angela (Jason is Chris' brother if we have non-family readers).... had their first baby, a baby girl ....

Born October 11th, 10:18am

7lbs. 15oz., 20 1/4 inches

We are very excited to get to meet her, and even more excited to see our kids grow up and become good friends!! I am already looking forward to family gatherings down the road, what fun!!!

Mommy and Daddy's work

Mommy had an "open house/health fair" at her work, so Daddy brought Brooklyn, Jamison, and Grandma Mary to visit. Brooklyn got "LOTS OF STUFF"!!! Even got her face painted (a butterfly on one cheek), a face tattoo (a butterfly on her other cheek), and got her fingerprints taken in case we need them in an emergency (let's hope and pray this never happens!!!)

A fun day, especially since Daddy had some time off of work for the day! We enjoyed him being home! Brooklyn got to go to work with him later in the day to help with "the football boys". What a busy girl!!

This pretty much says it all!! SMILEY GUY!!! Jamison is a VERY HAPPY GUY!! He rarely gets upset, only when he is hungry or sleepy! And we pretty much know when that is going to be, so we can usually fill those needs before he gets upset, so it is very rare to hear him cry!! He just smiles, smiles, smiles! What a blessing!!

Is that FOOTBALL on TV??

Jamison likes watching TV. I know that is nothing to brag about or be too proud about, or even supported by a lot of people, but he likes it. I am going to blame it on the fact that it is football season! Recently he has been spotted with this pose, just so he can get a peak at some football on TV!!! He uses this pose other times as well, there is just so much to see, sometimes you have to arch that back and look upside down!!

Getting Big

Jamison is growing and growing and growing! Talking (baby talk) lots and lots. I think he hears Brooklyn singing and wants to be heard too!! He is pretty content hanging out and watching what is going on!! He is putting EVERYTHING in his mouth-hand, shirt, blanket... Not sure what we are going to do when he wants to play WITH Brooklyn's things instead of just watching. Hopefully they will play together instead of fight over toys....only time will tell!! I can't wait!

More funny sayings and misheard lyrics

Thought of a couple more funny things that have come from Brooklyn....

Prayers sounds like Parrots. So she says her Parrots every night before bed!

She has also told me a couple of times...."Don't worry about me mom!" Um, hello you are two years old, this is a sure sign that something is happening that isn't suppose to be!

She was also watching Jamison play and grab a toy the other day and said, "Good job Jaaisom, I am so PROUD of you!" SO CUTE!

She makes us laugh every day that is for sure!!

What we are singing these days~

Brooklyn has become her little own pop star!! She is singing ALL OF THE TIME! She does a very good job remembering words and is in tune a lot of the time. Just thought I would share some of the MANY songs she is loving these days....
